Your working day today

A job starts with a drawing and a quote in a spreadsheet. Then a printed job sheet goes into the workshop, and the magnetic board on the wall shows who is working on what. You copy cutting lists and material orders from the drawing by hand, and only the person who runs the store knows what is already in stock. When a contractor calls to ask when the frames will be ready, someone has to walk into the workshop to find out.

What we build

For a carpentry factory we build four parts, for the office, a tablet by the machine and a phone on the road. We lay the foundation: the technology, the database, sign-in and security, hosting and maintenance. On top of it we build:

• Job file: client, drawings, quote, agreements and a clear status per job, from quote to installation.
• Cutting and materials lists: a cutting list for the workshop and an order list for timber and hardware, generated from the entered dimensions and wood types.
• Workshop schedule: a digital planning board per week and per person or machine, the same on every screen.
• Time tracking: hours logged per job from the shop floor, so the post-calculation adds up by itself.

Timeline and price

• Timeline: we expect a first version with the job file and the workshop schedule within 4 to 6 weeks. Cutting lists and time tracking follow in the rounds after that.
• Price: the prototype is free. Going live costs a one-off €1,500, then from €199 per month, with hosting, backups and changes by the factory every month. A link to your accounting or drawing software is part of Your own AI factory, from €599 per month.
