An example of how we would build this for a bakery.

An app of your own for your bakery

For a bakery with its own shop and a few regular trade customers, we build an app for pre-orders, standing weekly orders, an automatic bake list and an allergen sheet. So you no longer have to count in the evening.

Your working day today

Orders reach you at the counter, by phone, on WhatsApp and by email from regular trade customers. It all ends up on notes and in a notebook. Every evening you add up by hand how many loaves, cakes and rolls need to come out of the oven the next morning, and the allergen information sits in a binder behind the counter. On busy days, such as around the holidays, that counting takes a lot of time and it is easy for something to go wrong.

What we build

For a bakery we build four parts that work on the tablet in the bakery and on your phone. We lay the foundation: the technology, the database, sign-in and security, hosting and maintenance. On top of it we build:

  • Pre-orders: a simple order page for customers, with a pick-up day and time. Orders taken by phone or at the counter go into the same screen.
  • Standing weekly orders: a default order per trade customer that repeats every week, with a fixed cut-off for changes.
  • Daily bake list: all orders plus the regular shop stock, totalled per product and ready to print or view on the tablet.
  • Allergen sheet: ingredients and the 14 legally required allergens per product, kept in one place and available at the counter.

Timeline and price

  • Timeline: we expect a first version with the bake list and pre-orders within 2 to 4 weeks. Standing weekly orders and the allergen sheet follow in the rounds after that.
  • Price: the prototype is free. Going live costs a one-off €1,500, then from €199 per month, with hosting, backups and changes by the factory every month.
  • After that: you steer and grow the app step by step; we take care of hosting, backups and maintenance. Your first app is free. Want more? Unpinned can run your own AI factory, or we can build together (Build together from €199 per session).
