A customer brings in a bike, a cardboard tag goes on the handlebars and the appointment is written in a paper diary. Only the workshop manager knows how many repairs fit into a day. Whether a part is in stock only becomes clear when the mechanic goes looking. If a repair turns out more expensive, you call the customer and hope they pick up. And what was done to the same bike last year is recorded nowhere.

What we build

For a bicycle shop we build four parts, for the counter, the mechanic’s phone and your customers. We lay the foundation: the technology, the database, sign-in and security, hosting and maintenance. On top of it we build:

• Workshop bookings: online appointments within the capacity the workshop has each day.
• Digital repair ticket: the complaint, work done, parts used and status per bike, also on the mechanic’s phone.
• Customer messages: approval requests for extra work and a ready-for-pick-up message, by text or email.
• Parts and stock: usage per ticket, minimum stock levels and special customer orders on one list.

Timeline and price

• Timeline: we expect a first version with the digital repair ticket and the repair overview within 3 to 5 weeks. Online bookings and customer messages follow in the rounds after that.
• Price: the prototype is free. Going live costs a one-off €1,500, then from €199 per month, with hosting, backups and changes by the factory every month.
